In this installment of Inspired by Film, Mark takes a look back at memory lane; to the year 2000. Yes, the time when the world said it was a new millennium despite history and logic (it really should have been celebrated in 2001) . As well as the year when people were either scared or entertained by the anti-climatic Y2K bug. Anyways, lots happened; especially in the world of film. Directors and producers were finally kicking the habit of using corny music in their soundtracks (circa 1980). Instead more and more big features included original scores that have a timeless quality to them.
